Description
The Ballistic Missile Targets Joint Project Office, (BMTJPO), U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command is seeking companies that have the capability to provide Ballistic Missile Defense target/payload support in the areas of Research and Development, Design, Modeling & Simulation, Analysis, Fabrication, Integration, and Ground and Flight Test operations. Future contracts, if awarded could include one or any combination of the following products, services, and deliverables: Re-entry Vehicles (RV) Payloads: Instrument, conventional, nuclear surrogate, chemical/biological surrogate Penetration aids Decoys Hit detectors Miss distance/direction indicators Miscellaneous lethality instrumentation Health and status monitoring and in-flight instrumentation Telemetry Systems Propulsion systems and/or fuels Special development and program support tasks. Ground and/or flight test support Passive signature augmentation system Engineering studies, analyses, and reports on the above mentioned items The BMTJPO is seeking companies that have specific, proven experience and capabilities in target and payload development. Interested parties may assume that products resulting from a future "target/payload" contract would be integrated onto a separately procured launch vehicle or ground sled test apparatus. Interested parties are requested to submit to the contracting officer a capability statement that includes: 1) Name of firm, type of firm (large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned small business, HUBZone, non-profit organizations, higher education institutions, historically Black colleges/universities and minority institutions, etc) mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number, POC; 2) A brief statement of experience/qualifications including a description of projects completed similar to the work outlined above; and 3) The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 8731 and the North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) is 541710 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Responses shall indicate the size of the firm under the SIC code assigned for this effort. Responses should be limited to five pages or less. E-mail response is acceptable.
