Description

The Department of Defense, TRICARE Management Activity (TMA), intends to make a sole source award to Access Technologies, Inc., to acquire non-personal professional services to obtain technical advice, design and coding consultation services, and testing services during the development of "web-enabled" versions of the 32-bit HCSR and TED Production versions of the TRICARE Duplicate Claims Systems (DCS). The contractor shall function as a technical advisor and design and coding consultant to the TMA and to the TMA ADP Facilities Management Services Contractor who will be responsible for taking the DCS Paradox "front-end" and rewriting it in a common web-based language. The contractor shall provide technical expertise and knowledge of the Paradox source code and logic of the 32-bit HCSR, TED prototype and TED production versions of the DCS needed during the development of HCSR and TED versions that are "web-enabled". The contractor shall also perform ongoing testing of the "web-enabled" components of the HCSR and TED versions of the DCS as they are written by the TMA ADP Facilities Management Services Contractor. The contractor shall test all changes before submission to the Government. The period of performance is 1 October 2000 through 30 September 2001. This procurement is conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. Anticipated award date is 18 September 2000.
