Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to award a purchase to obtain the services of a CD-ROM publishing facility to replicate the ORA Gold Disk and Eureka! Disks. The Gold Disc is used throughout FDA as a web enabled information system. The Eureka! Disc is provided to state governments and territories working with FDA across many programs. The services being requested include mastering of the databases to the ISO 9660 standard from a recordable CD-ROM, replication of the database onto CD-ROM disks, screening of the disks, packaging and shipping of the disks to subscribers designated by FDA. The contractor shall: 1.) Mastering of the data into the ISO 9660 format. 2.) Replication of approximately 419 disks under the Gold Disk label and approximately 425 disks under the Eureka! Label. 3.) Screening of artwork [single color on colored background] from a design supplied by FDA. 4.) Packaging of CD-ROMs in a container suitable for shipping; example: tyvek sleeve with mailing container. 5.) Affixing mailing labels from electronic subscriber file supplier by FDA. 6.) Shipment of five (5) Gold Disk CD-ROMs via overnight mail service to one site and the remainder via surface mail.
