Description

Provide to the Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, Mi. 48201, all labor, tools and material to test, clean, inspect and adjust electrical distribution system and related equipment. Equipemnt ranges from 13.2KV incoming power cabling and gear, 13.2KV 480/277 sub-stations, 480/277/208/120 distribution systems and equipment. The contract will be for a base year and two options years. Furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision to clean, inspect, test and adjust electrical distribution system and equipment at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit, Michigan. All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work and in strict compliance with all national, state, county, and local codes so having jurisdiction. Qualification of Testing Firm and Personnel: The testing firm, shall have a minimum of 5 years of specialized continuous experience in testing, inspecting, cleaning, adjusting and appraising electrical distribution systems and apparatus to assure their reliable operation. In accordance with the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.502-2, award for this service will be made on a competitive basis to eligible and responsible small business concerns, provided that a minimum of two competitive offers, in accordance with this solicitation, are received from eligible small business concerns. If a minimum of two eligible and responsible offers from small business concerns are not received, award will be made on the basis of full and open competition from among all responsible business concerns that submit an offer Request for solicitations must be in writing addressed to the contracting officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Detroit, MI.
