- Description
- The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for a Physician Assistant, Family Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Psychiatric Technician at Naval Medical Clinic (NMC) Quantico, VA, and a requirement for an Ophthalmology RN and Ophthalmic Technicians at National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) Bethesda, MD. Future requirements may include an expansion of the current requirement and expansion of services to include the Washington DC Metropolitan Area as follows: District of Columbia; counties of Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, Frederick, Montgomery, Prince George's and St. Mary's in Maryland; counties of Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Falls Church, Fauquier, King George, Loudon, Prince William, and Stafford in Virginia. Future requirements may also be required at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center, Branch Medical Clinic, Philadelphia, PA. Expansion may further include the following services: Dietician, Nurse Practitioner (NP), NP Anesthetist, NP Family, NP Midwife, NP Pediatrics, NP Women's Health, Occupational Therapist, Optometrist, Physical Therapist, Physician Assistant, Podiatrist, Speech Pathologist, RN, Critical Care RN, Medical/Surgical RN, Labor & Delivery RN, Operating Room RN, Outpatient RN, Licensed Practical (Vocational) Nurse (LPN/LVN), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Cardiac Technologist; Cardiovascular Technologist, Dietetic Technician, Echocardiographic Technician, Electrocardiograph Technician (EKG), Electroencephalographic Technician (EEG), EMT-A, Hemodialysis Technician, Medical Assistant, Occupational Therapy Aide, Ophthalmic Technician, Optician, Orthopaedic Technologist, Perfusionist, Phlebotomist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Psychiatric Technician, Surgical/OR Technician, Audiologist, Central Sterile Supply Technician, Chief Radiation Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, Mammography Technician, Mammography Technologist, Medical Dosimetrist, Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Technologist, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Radiation Therapist, Radiologic Technologist, Respiratory Therapist, Ultrasound Technologist, Vascular (Angiography) Technologist. The resulting contracts may be used by other DoD activities and/or the Coast Guard. Multiple awards are contemplated. Personal services, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contracts are contemplated. The minimum quantity anticipated for this procurement is: 880 hours Physician Assistant services; 880 hours Family Nurse Practitioner services; 1,760 hours Registered Nurse services; 4,400 hours Licensed Practical Nurse services; 3,520 hours Medical Assistant services; 880 hours Psychiatric Technician services; 880 hours Ophthalmology Registered Nurse services; 2,640 hours Ophthalmic Technician services. The maximum quantity is approximately 4,547,766 hours of services. See Numbered Note 1. The contract(s) will have a five year ordering period. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. No RFPs will be mailed to offerors. The RFP and all amendments will be posted to the internet at http://www-nmlc.med.navy.mil when released in October 2000.
