Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Business Center at Long Beach CA, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Becton Dickinson of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. The purpose of this solicitation will be for the purchase of all required hardware and software for the BD Dx System, a client-server based application designed to act as a specimen management process that will interface with the existing lab information system. The requirements exist on-site at the VA San Diego Healthcare System, La Jolla, California. The requirements include the equipment, its installation and any testing, training and support. The solicitation also includes the software license, maintenance and upkeep as well as regular upgrades. The solicitation number is RFQ600-111-00tmt. The period of performance shall be for one (1) year from the date of award with the option to renew the contract for two (2) additional one- (1) year periods.
