Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates award of multiple blanket purchase arrangements (BPA) for writer editor services. Requirements may include a variety of topics in public health, medicine, or health care. A minimum of baccalaureate degree is required but a Masters degree is perferred in journalism, political science, physical science, or a para-medical profession. Documented experience of writing on a variety of topics as described above. Performance period of the BPAs will be from date of award through September 25, 2001. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is expected to be issued on or about September 21, 2000. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS will be accepted. Only written or FAX requests will be accepted. FAX requests may be submitted to 770/488-2670/2671. Quotations will be evaluated on the understanding of the requirements, qualifications of personnel and quality of past performance as indicated by submission of appropriate samples. Place of performance is the Atlanta metropolitan area in Georgia. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. SIC code for this procurement is 8748 with a small business size standard of not more than $5 million in receipts for the three preceding fiscal years. See numbered note 1!
