The 42 Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL intends to issue an award for the following services-CONTINGENT ON FY 2001 FUNDING. >>Request a contract for 1 Oct 00 through 30 Sep 01 for officials for Youth Basketball as follows (all games will be held at Maxwell AFB): Instructional League Basketball Game-1 Official per game_25 each Instructional League Basketball Game-2 Officials per game_25 each American League Basketball Game-2 Official per game_30 each National League Basketball Game-1 Official per game_30 each JV/Varsity Basketball Game-2 Official per game_30 each<< STATEMENT OF WORK: 1. The Contractor agrees to perform services to provide sports officials, scorers, timers or other positions requested to the Maxwell/Gunter Sports and Fitness center in support of the yearly intramural and varsity sports programs. 2. The contractor must be a sanctioned association recognized by the state of Alabama. The association must conduct rules interpretations clinic for coaches and sports center staff at Maxwell/Gunter to cover current playing rules and by-laws for each major sport. 3. All perspective officials are required to attend all clinics, meetings required by the contracted sports officials association prior to officiating a sport at Maxwell/Gunter. 4. Contracted officials are responsible to furnish their required uniforms and equipment and will wear all required items when officiating sports events at Maxwell/Gunter. 5. Officials must report to the sport site no later than 20 minutes before the scheduled contest or game. 6. The sports program director will furnish all by-laws, schedules and etc. to the contracted association well in advance of the seasonal play so they can schedule officials required for that sport. 7. The contracted association will be responsible to the sports program director and Athletic director to coordinate general plans and rules for all major sports events in Intramural and Varsity sports programs. 8. The sports program director or Athletic director will communicate any problems or concerns with officials to the commissioner of the contracted association. 9. The association is required to notify the sports program director not later than the first duty day following the scheduled contest for all ejected players and forfeits. 10. Should a game or contest be postponed prior to two (2) hours before scheduled time due to adverse weather conditions the scheduled officials will be paid for the first game only. All remaining games on that date will also be postponed. 11. Changes in schedules, postponements must be provided to the association at least 1 workday prior to the scheduled date by the sports program director or the athletic department will be liable for payment of officials.
