This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to SGI for maintenance of SGI computer equipment under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is a Federal Supply Schedule Contract item. The anticipated award date is October 1, 2000. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
