Description

This is a notice of intent to award a FAR Part 12, _Acquisition of Commercial Items_, sole source to Communications & Power Industries, Inc.. The item being acquired is the VZU-6995AY 500 Watt, 17.3 _ 18.4 GHz TWT Compact High Power Amplifier (CHPA) with PIN attenuator, internal RS-422/485 computer interface, rear intake and exhaust, and integrated output component. Overall gain 75dB min. Prime power: 208-240 VAC 47-63 Hz, single phase. Qty requested is 2 each. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. All proposals must be received by 3:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time, 13 Sep 2000.
