Description

Single award term contract for the Document Automation and Production Service, Redstone Arsenal, AL, for the term of November 1, 2000 through October 31, 2001. Quality Level III is required. These specifications cover the production of books with separate or self-covers requiring such operations as film-making, printing, binding, packing, mailing, and shipping. Approximately 200 orders per year. Format "A" -- up to & including 8-1/2 x 11" with maximum size of fold-ins 45 x 11"; average of 1,600 copies; 132 pages. Format "B" -- over 8-1/2 x 11" up to and including 17 x 11"; average of 800 copies; 78 pages. Printing in black ink only. various stocks and binding styles. 90% of the copies will deliver f.o.b. destination to St. Louis, MO. Complete production, delivery, and mailing must be made within 15 workdays. Request for bid package must be faxed to (404) 605-9185 and must be made on contractor's letterhead referencing Program 3414-S.
