Description

The Provision of Counseling Services is required under PL 105-17, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 1997. Services consist of evaluation of referred students in the area of counseling needs, a written report reflecting the findings of the evaluation, participation in a multi-disciplinary team meeting regarding the evaluation results, development of goals and objectives for those students identified as needing counseling services and provision of counseling services for identified students. Services must be provided in accordance with PL 105-17 and the State of New Mexico special education guidelines. Services will be provided for the duration of the 2000-2001 school year. Services will start on October 30, 2000 and end May 25, 2001. Services will be provided at the school site for a total of 1 day per week. Aneth Community School is located 50 miles from Shiprock, NM. Mileage reimbursement is available at .32 per mile to and from school location. State Licensure in Counseling (AZ, UT or NM) acceptable. Numbered notes (1) applies.
