- You are invited to submit a budgetary quotation under Request For Quotation number F41689-00-Q-0724 to furnish training as outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement. This request is for informational planning purposes only and is important for establishment of a realistic cost estimate. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation, or otherwise pay for the information solicited except as provided in subsection 31.205-18, bid and proposal (b&p) costs, of the federal acquisition regulation. Identify any factors that would affect the prices quoted, and specify equipment and technical data that would be needed to support training (inclusive of stock number, part number, noun description, T.O. numbers, description of manuals and software). Also, specify whether said items would be Contractor or Government furnished. For performance in overseas areas, please identify logistical and administrative support required for your instructors. Your quotation should arrive at the above address not later than COB, 06 Oct 00 and have a validity period of at least 180 days. This is the minimum time required for processing by HQ USAF and review by the customer country. PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT 1. Scope a. Vehicle training materials are required by the USAF in support of an Egyptian Air Force (EAF) foreign military sales program. Proposed training materials will be procured training, procured by Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and delivered under the auspices of Air Force Security Assistance Training Program. All instructional materials will be in the English language. This training material supports the Pacer Chariot Foreign Military Sales Program. b. Training aids can consist of videos, books, CDs, cassettes, or other media. Training materials should include all of the major systems. Materials should cover operator to overhaul level of maintenance for the vehicles. c. Training aids are required on all of the following types of vehicles: aircraft refuelers, forklifts, fire fighting vehicles, hydraulic cranes, wreckers, ambulances, and general purpose pickups and vans (see vehicle listing attached). 2. Technical Training a. The contractor shall propose course training materials in the above formats/media. The objective of the training materials is to provide the EAF technicians with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as operators and maintainers of the above listed equipment.
