Description

The work to be performed consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 50,000 cubic yards of shoaled sand and silt from the Squalicum Waterway Channel at Bellingham Harbor, Washington, with disposal by bottom-dump barge. Disposal will be at either the Bellingham Bay or Rosario Strait open water disposal site. An estimated 20,000 cubic yards of dredged materials may be used for approved beneficial use at a log pond remediation site in Bellingham harbor. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-ROM format only. Disks will be available on or about 10 November 2000, at no charge per set, issued on a first come, first served basis until supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Firms desiring a copy of the IFB must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ Disks will be mailed or you may pickthem up from the Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Estimated dollar value is in the range of $250,000 to $500,000 and completion period is 90 days. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1629. Project is 100% Small Business Set Aside. A concern is considered small if its average annual receipts are $17 million or less. Proposed procurement will result in a firm fixed-price contract.
