Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A separate written RFQ will not be issued-this synopsis announcement serves as the request for quotation. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors), FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation-Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items), FAR 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items) and 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders-Commercial Items). This is a noncompetitive acquisition to Olin Corp, Winchester Division, East Alton, IL under the authority of 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is for 100,000 ea 5.56mm Ball link, lead free, non-toxic cartridges, 234,000 ea 9mm ball, lead free, non-toxic cartridges and 425,000 ea 5.56mm ball, lead free, non-toxic cartridges. This non-toxic, lead free ammunition is for use on Air Force Reserve Command, Small Arms Ranges.
