Description

Note 22 applies. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation number for this acquisition is for MDA113-00-T-0026. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18 (Initial Effective 6 Jul 00). This is a sole source requirement being pursued with HK Systems in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to negotiate a purchase order with HK Systems for annual maintenance of the HK Systems Automated Storage and Retrieval System located at the Defense Visual Information Center, 1363 Z St., Bldg. 2730, March ARB, CA 92518-2017. Work includes 24-hour service coverage; unlimited telephone support; 24-hour on-site response time; on-site service when requested; and one (1) preventative maintenance service and one (1) safety inspection from the period of 1 OCT 00 through 30 SEP 01.
