Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04700-00-T-0091. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 200000831. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3088. Small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition includes Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): 0001, 1 each portable shower trailer, that unit that consist of electric water heater, mens and womens, three showers and one sink on both sides, standard tow hitch, 1000 gallon holding tank, brake and tail lights, sufficient light for each bathroom, mirrors over sinks, disposal port for grey water with bib adapter fittings. Required delivery 30 days after receipt of purchase order at Edwards AFB, FOB Destination. The following provisions and clauses apply: Provision 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference. This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial; clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (to include: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era); clause 52.232-33 Mandatory information for electronic funds transfer payment. Award will be based on lowest priced, techncically acceptable offer. Offerors quoting must provide descriptive literature to include a drawing of the proposed unit, to the extent necessary to allow the Government to determine the technical acceptability of the item. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with the offer. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, contact the contract specialist to receive a copy.
