Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-00-Q-0338 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18 and DCN 20000627. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3827 and the size standard is 500 employees. The small business set-aside is dissolved for this procurement. This is a sole source procurement to Litton EOS, 10420 Miller Road, Dallas TX IAW Far 6.302-1(a). This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001: 256 each facemask assembly part number 240459-002 for the AN/PVS-7C, AN/PVS-15 and AN/PVS-18. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination at Crane, IN 47522 with the delivery as 60 days ARO. Selection for award will be based on price and past performance. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
