Description

The Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB), Office of Contracts (CON) intends to non-competitively award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) Contract to Nvision, Inc. for the purchase of NVision's digital audio routing switcher components. NVision, Inc. Is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of these replacement spare parts and components and as such, is the only company qualified to provide the required spare parts and components for its equipment. The Government contemplates awarding, subject to the availability of funds, a firm-fixed price contract as a result of RFP No. BBGCON3600S5160-BJS. The contract will be effective for a period of one year from date of award. The basis for using "Other Than Full and Open Competition" for this procurement is 41 USC 253(c)(1) and FAR Subpart 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency requirements). The electronic circuit assemblies required are proprietary to NVision, utilizing proprietary NVision application-specific integrated circuits and, therefore, are not available from any other source. CLIN 7: AES Clock Generator, Catalog No. EM3520, QUANTITY: 2 Each. CLIN 8: NVision 3512S Router Power Supply, Catalog No. PS3003, QUANTITY: 3 Each.
