Description

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mt. Weather Emergency Assistance Center (MWEAC), Bluemont, VA, intends to negotiate with Hill-Rom Medaes, Inc., for the purchase of one each Med Plus Medical Air Plant with Refrigerated Dryers, Model No. 6916, in support of FEMA's mission requirement to support operation of a health unit, meeting medical standards outlined for use with medical gases. A market survey was performed by the Program Office and a determination was made that the Med Plus Medical Air Plant with Refrigerated Dryers offers the best value to the Government and best meets the specific needs of FEMA. The air plant is to be delivered to FEMA in Bluemont, VA. In addition, the air plant is considered to be a commercial item in nature. Interested persons may respond by identifying their capability to provide the required product, to include descriptive literature for their proposed product AND pricing. Responses shall be in writing and sent to the address identified above, ATTN: Mrs. Debi Foster, or facsimile to 540/542-2631, same ATTN line, or email at the address shown at the conclusion of this announcement. Responses must be received 10 calendar days from date of publication of this announcement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the date identified above will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
