- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is M00681-00-T-I0087. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-18 and DAC 91-23. This is a 100% small business set aside under simplified acquisition procedures; the standard industrial code is 3571- and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. The procurement consists of the following items: 1) 2 each P/N 11085-103, RPS MPS VI Systems includes: Sun Ultra Axdp motherboard (Sun Ultra 60), Dual 450Mhz processor modules, 1024MB RAM Memory (expandable to 2408MB), Detachable 20" LCD Display 1280 x 1024, Two Creator 3D Graphic accelerator cards, Two removable 18.1GB fast wide SCSI hard disk drives, Integrated CD ROM drive, Three spare peripheral bays, Integrated 3.5' 1.44MB floppy disk drive, Integrated PCMCIA reader, Two serial RS232 ports, Parallel Centronics printer port, Ultra wide SCSI-2 port, Ethernet ports 10/100 Mpbs, one RJ45, Mouse port, Sealed backlit full travel Sun keyboard with integrated trackball, AC/DC auto sensing power supply, UPS battery backup, Solaris 2.5.1 pre-installed & supporting all drives. 2) Options. 2 each P/N 11085-092-05 MPS VI Transit case with wheels and telescopic pullout handle, 2 each P/N 11067-612-02 8mm DAT tape drive with adaptor. 2 each P/N 11067-614-01 CD/RW with adaptor. 2 each P/N 41495-100 RPS rugged Sony 20" CRT Monitor includes 10' video cable Recommended source; Rugged Portable Systems or equal to part numbers listed. Please provide descriptive literature.. The Government will evaluate the technical capability of the product to meet the Government's needs, based on warranty, delivery, price and meeting the specifications identified above. All Contractors submitting an offer are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award. The Government has the discretion to determine best value and award to one or more contractors. DFAR 252.225-7008 Supplies to be Accorded Duty-Free Entry, DFAR 252-204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration, DFAR 252.232-7009 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer, and DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items with the following applicable clauses for para (b): DFAR 252.243-7002 Certification of Requests for Equitable Adjustment DFAR 252-247-7024 Notification of Transportation of Supplies by Sea. The contractor shall furnish a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and DFAR 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. Offers are due by 4 PM (PST) on 15 September 2000 and may be sent by mail or fax (760-725-8445). Offers sent via US Postal Service should be mailed to the Contracting Office, PO BOX 1609, Oceanside, CA 92051-1609; offers sent by FEDEX should be sent to the Contracting Office, Bldg 22180, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055-5027. Offers are solicited FOB destination only to Camp Pendleton, CA. Award date is anticipated to be made on 18 September 2000. and delivery is requested for all items and all quantities on or before 29 September 2000.
