Description

Background "This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This is a Sole Source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1. This RFQ has the following line items(s): Intranet Healthcare Subscriptions (Computerized Information System) CD-Rom Renewal. Current subscriptions include Emergindex, Martindale, KinetiDex, PoisinDex, CareNotes, P&T Quik, Drug-Reax, Pharmaceutical MSDS, Tomes, IV Index, PDR, IdentiDex, AltMedDex, AltCareDex, AltMed-Reax. Systems Maintenance (for the Software) will include unlimited telephone support, routine support to include software updates, and 24-hour emergency service. Period of Performance is from 01 Oct 00 through 30 Sep 01. Proposals must price each line item listed above. Ship to: 74 MDSS/SGSI (Bldg. 830), 4881 Sugar Maple Drive, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Delivery required NLT 01 Oct 00, FOB destination, net 30 payment terms. The following clauses and provisions apply: 52.212-1, and 52.212-3. clause 42.212-4 and 52.212-5 shall be included with any offer. In accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(2), the Government may award without discussions WPAFB intends to award to Micromedex, Inc., 6200 S. Syracuse Way, Suite 300, Englewood, CO 80111.
