Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information provided in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F22600-00-T1264 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Standard Industrial Code is 2522; small business standard size is 750 employees. Type of set-aside: None. The incorporated document provisions and clauses are to be in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. This requirement is for the following items. Item 0022: Top Mount Exhaust Fan, P/N EA5000, 7 ea. All items will be awarded as an aggregate award to one vendor. Delivery terms shall be FOB destination with delivery 60 days after award and shall be delivered to 336TRS/UUAC, 600 Hangar Rd, Suite 224, Keesler AFB Biloxi, MS 39534-2568. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order; FAR Part 52.212-1 Instructions to Offeror-Commercial Items (Jun 99) is incorporated by reference, applies to this acquisition and is amended to read: submit signed and dated offer to 81CONS/LGCS, 310 M Street, Room 102, Keesler AFB, MS 39534-2102 at or before 1530 (3:30 p.m.) CST 14 Sep 00. Quotations must be signed, dated and submitted on your Company's letterhead or quotation form. Quotations may be submitted via FAX (228-377-3298) to John Walker's attention or by E-mail to john.walker@keesler.af.mil. Clause 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 99) Evaluation Factors past performance, technically acceptable product and price will be evaluated as being substantially equal. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Each Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Feb 00) with its quote. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (May 99) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 98). The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Sep 99) and 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes on Executive Orders applicable to Defense acquisitions of commercial items (Sep 99) are incorporated by reference, however, for paragraph (b) only the following clauses apply: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246); 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (29 U.S.C. 793); 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era(38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.232-34, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332), 252.225-7001, and 252.225-7036.
