Description

The work consists of rental and delivery of three (3) Sludge Boxes, within 48 hours after award, to the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel in Leadville, Colorado. The sludge box shall have a rated capacity of not less than 20 cubic yards and not greater than 30 cubic yards. Removal, transportation and disposal of filled sludge boxes to the approved site for disposal or recycling. Copies of the transporter's DOT license for transportation; The EPA ID number, or State permit number, for each treatment, storage, disposal facility (TSDF) and proposed method of treatment, disposal, or recycling, including the associated TSDF address, telephone number, and point of contact; and notice of any specified State or local permits (or notices) required for the transportation treatment, and/or disposal or recycling of the materials shall be submitted with the Contractor's quote documents. Certificate of disposals or recycling shall be submitted to the Bureau of Reclamation, Attention: Lois Garwood, ECAO-Twin Lakes Area, Granite Star Route, Granite, Colorado 81228. This contract will be for one year with option of two (2) prepriced optional years that the Government can determine or not determine to exercise. The Request For Quote (RFQ) packages will be made available on or around September 13, 2000. Quotes will be due on or before September 28, 2000. This RFQ is a total small business set-aside. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 5093. The small business size standard is 100 employees. To receive a copy of the RFQ, Contractors shall fax a request to Beverly Beckman at (406) 247-7798. The fax must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification and Dun and Bradstreet numbers.
