Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement will be procured using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation reference number is F1320202240400 and is a Request For Quote (RFQ). The solicitation is reserved as a 100% small business set-aside. The associated standard industrial classification code is 3861and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Atch 1) The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, also applies (Atch 1). Wage Determination 94-2309 Rev 19 dated 7/20/00 is applicable to this requirement (Atch 2). A site visit will be held on 14 Sep 2000 at 0900 to determine measurements, equipment integration possibilities, and required new equipment. All interested parties should meet in Building 50 (201 E. Winters Street) at 0845. The requirement is as follows: HQ AMC/DOX located in Building 1600 in the Temporary Secure Work Area (TSWA) at Scott AFB IL requires a presentation system that will require integration with existing equipment and present images up to a secret level for four computers within the (TSWA), to include the GCCS system. This system will be used for briefings, exercises, and wartime functions by support staff. The system must be cable TV (CNN) capable and may possibly be used for teleconferencing with 15 AF/CC and CINCSTRAT. Projectors shall be mounted from the ceiling to allow for maximum table space. Installation shall be included and will be scheduled to prevent excessive interference with support staff operations. Registration on Contractor's Central Registration (CCR) is mandatory for consideration of award. Quotes are due on 18 Sep 2000 NLT 1600 CDT (late quotes will not be considered).
