Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, has a requirement for Engineering Services from investigative, date collection, design and construction period services for a water reuse system for the wild rice and endangered species program. The project is located at the San Marcos National Fish Hatchery and Technology Center, San Marcos, Hayes County, Texas. Selection of successful firm shall be based on (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in fishery water reuse systems, including where appropriate, experience in energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction and use of recovered materials; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work within eighty (80) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed; (4) Past Performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with the performance schedule; and (5) Location of the firm and knowledge of the locality of the project. Area of consideration is limited to those firms within the State of Texas and possess a current professional engineering license in the State of Texas. Interested firm should submit their Standard Form 254 and 255 in accordance with Numbered Note 24 by the due date stated in this announcement.
