Description

The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide ticketing services for an ongoing series of traveling exhibitions located at the Presidio of San Francisco. The Presidio is a National Park and a National Historic Landmark. Scope of services may include but is not limited to: (a) Perform 3 types of ticket sales transactions for traveling exhibitions and special events: 24-hour online sales through a link on the Presidio Trust website, telephone call-in sales via operators, and point-of-sale ticketing at multiple locations; (b) Provide ticket fulfillment and/or reservation confirmation services; (c) Provide online interface for Presidio Trust to issue point-of-sale tickets, to download will-call lists, to modify online information or add special events, and to generate financial and mailing list reports from ticket sales data; (d) Lease ticket printing hardware to Presidio Trust; (g) Generate reports including daily will-call lists; and (f) Train Presidio Trust staff in operating online accessed software. Vendor will provide services on a fee-per-ticket basis with minimal or no up-front cost. Vendor will manage online and telephone sales at vendor's location. Online and telephone sales will be processed via credit card. Estimated start date early October 2000. Minimum qualifications include: Demonstrated 24-hour online ticket selling capability; operators to receive/process telephone ticket purchases; ability to process credit card sales; report generating capability; provide printable tickets; special event ticket sales capability; minimum 3 years experience in online ticket sales. Proposals will be evaluated based upon criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP), including but not limited to: (a) Proposed up-front costs; (b) Ability to be up and running 2 weeks from NTP; (c) References and client list; (d) Special event ticket sales capability; and (e) Report generating capability.
