Description

The US Army Acquisition Center,Natick Contracting Division,has a requirement for the repair and repainting of eastside wall of Building 20 and exterior and interior of ACS Office in Building 14 located at the US Army installation in Natick Massachusetts. On building 20 the contractor shall repair the east facing outside wall. The contractor shall remove all of the old paint layers. No loose or removable paint shall remain. After paint removal, the contractor shall re-caulk and water seal all windows,doors,and passage ways on this side of the building. Also on the North and South sides that may be effecting the water damage problem not to exceed ten (10) feet in on each side. On building 14 the contractor shall remove all old paint layers on the block walls,windows,garage doors, and personnel doors. No loose or removable paint shall remain. The work encompasses the entire exterior of the building and the interior of the ACS office,block walls (which include any window sills and frames,metal doors (garage bays,doorways,bumper guards, hand railings,etc.), metal windows and wood trim.The contractor shall remove and dispose of all debris created by this work. The anticipated amount is estimated between $50,000 and $100,000. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for this Procurement is 1721 and the Small Business size Standard is $7.0. The Government anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price Contract. The Request for Quotation will be available on our Web Site at http://www3.natick.army.mil. The Solicitation will be issued on the Web Site on or about 7 September 2000. Quotations will be due 10 days after the posting of the solicitation at 3:00PM EST.
