Description

SIC 1731 Provide all material, equipment, and labor necessary to demolish and perform electrical and mechanical work to install HVAC units. Work will be done in a building with courtrooms under conditions whre added requirements will be necessary due to the noise and environmental limiting factors involved. Work will be for air conditioning, electrical, and mechanical requirements at the Carl Albert Federal Building/Courthouse in McAlester, Oklahoma. Estimated cost range is $250,000 to $500,000. Solicitation No. GS-07P-00-UDC-5033, Project No. ROK97073. Solicitation will be available by 098/24/00. Projected award date is 11/09/00. This project is being procured as a negotitated, firm-fixed price contract requiring the prime contractor to accomplish a minimum of 25% of the contracted work within his organization. The prime contractor and his subcontractors will be required to furnish a minimum of three references, per firm, attesting to the quality of their work. Extra consideration will be offered to those who have also worked in a courtroom environment during their work experiences. The solicitation and any other project related documents, but without the drawings, will be available on the Internet. Drawings will be available at a cost of $60 per set. All contractors downloading the solicitation from the internet shall notify this office, in writing, via facsimile to: Steven F. Clark, at 817/978-3974. A plan holders list will be compliled from these facsimiles. Contractors are responsible for downloading their own copies of the solicitation and its amendments, if any. These documents will be in the PDF format and will reside on the Internet address of the General Services Administration page at http//eps.gov.
