Description

This is a modification to a presolicitation notification for solicitation N47408-00-T-0126 announcing a sole source procurement. Proposed contract will be awarded as an unrestricted procurement using the sealed bid process rather than as a sole source. The new Invitation for Bid (IFB) number is N47408-00-B-1202. Award will be made to the low priced responsive, responsible offeror. The technical specifications remain unchanged. Sufficent documentation must be provided with bid to allow the Government to establish that the proposed product meets the Government specifications. The solicitation is posted at the following Internet address http://esol.navfac.navy.mil under the IFB number listed above. Bid opening will be at 1400 on September 22, 2000. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), this solicitation will only be available electronically. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
