Description

Firewood, seasoned or kiln-dried hardwood. No softwood or slab. Consumer packaged (bundled) and palletized (3/4 cubic feet to 1 cubic foot) to be delivered to Defense Commissary Agency stores in the Midwest Region and Southern Area, Eastern Region. Delivery period shall be from approximately November 1, 2000 or date of award to March 31, 2001 for 10 geographical zones. Group I includes: Barksdale AFB, GA, Keesler AFB, MS; Group II includes: Fort Benning, GA, Redstone Arsenal AL; Group III includes: Charleston AFB, SC, Charleston NWS, SC, Robins AFB, GA; Group IV includes: NSB Kings Bay, GA, Macdill AFB, FL, Moody AFB, GA; Group V includes: Pensacola NAS, FL; Group VI includes: Cherry Point MCAS, NC, Fort Bragg North, NC, Fort Bragg South, NC, Seymour Johnson, NC; Group VII includes: Vance AFB, OK, Fort Leavenworth, KS, Altus AFB, OK; Group VIII includes: Fort Carson, CO; Group IX includes Fort Bliss, TX, Sheppard AFB, TX; Group X includes: Randolph AB, TX. Projected issue date of Solicitation No: DeCA02-00-R-0021 is September 28, 2000. Estimated closing date is October 24, 2000. This is a requirements type contract. The Unit of Issue for this requirement is Cubic Feet. Multiple awards are anticipated. Total anticipated requirements are estimates, which could increase with patron demand. Estimated annual quantities vary by store. Acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
