Description
CTVHCS intends to rent on a sole-source basis the Wampole line protector, Biotek Reader, Washer, and PersonalLabSystem, and purchase the following reagents, from Wampole Laboratories, P. O. Box 1001, Cranbury, NJ 08512-0181, beginning on 10/1/00 through 9/30/01 and two option years: Stock #B1038-37, Syphilis IGG ELISA-96, 53 kits; #B6748-2, C. difficile toxin A/B, 10 kits, #B1038-14 Wampole H pylori IgG, 30 kits; #B1038-66 Wampole ANA Screen, 34 kits. Each kit provides 96 tests per kit. System must be operating by October 1, 2000. Sole source is necessary because of need to run kits manufactured by vendors other than the original manufacturer of the analyzer on a single analyzer to test for a variety of viral and bacterial diseases. This facilitates tests heretofore not cost effective if performed alone on a single instrument. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Determination to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government and no additional synopses will be published. All responsible sources responding to this solicitation who can provide the equipment and services required may submit a proposal which will be considered. Interested parties should respond within 7 days of this publication and shall submit in writing, name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size, and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the products specified above and product literature showing the tests which can be accommodated. Analyzer proposed must be able to process tests manufactured by other vendors. Those tests which analyzer must be capable of processing include the following (in addition to those listed above): CMV IGG-96, CMV IGM-96, EBV VCA (P-18) IGG, EBV EA-DIGG-96, EBV VCA IGG-96, EBNA l GG-96, HSV I IGG-96, HSV 2 IGG-96, Legionella G/M 96, Lyme IGG/M 96, Measles IGG-96, Mumps IGG-96, Mycoplasma IGG-96; H. Pylori IGG-96; rubella IGG-96, E. TOXO IGG-96; TOXO IGM-96, VZ IGG-96; ANA Screen-96; DS DNA-96; Cardiolipin IGG-96; Giardia; cryptosporidium. If no responses providing proof that they can provide equipment which can provide the same capabilities is received within the time frame mentioned above, we will proceed with sole source procurement.
