Description

The United States Department Of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency, Kansas City Administrative Office, is requesting quotations on the following equipment: 1. One (1) each CD Duplication System, standalone, 12X CD writeable drivers, upgradeable to future CD-R/DVD technology, digital and analog import options, copies all current CD format types, must allow multiple images to be stored & duplicated from a local hard disk, must provide the following configurations: copy protection, watermarking, frame accurate recording. 2. Two (2) complete systems, CD-R Duplication system: base unit with input and output hoppers, robotics, drives, software and color printer. The combined systems must be capable of producing 100 64mb cd's per hour in a fully automated system, have a verify failure rate of no greater than .1%, have an NT operating system that is capable of being a standalone and/or Network/Client, have a 24 hour turn around maintenance agreement with as needed phone support, be capable of writing all formats including audio and video. Each system must write, verify, and print using an integrated color printer and user editable labeling software without operator intervention, have input hopper with 200 CD capacity and output hopper with 200 CD capacity. Cut sheet and warranty information must be included with quotation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ-00-11 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This request for quotation and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19. All line items will be delivered to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency, 6501 Beacon Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64133. Prices quoted shall include the cost of delivery in accordance with FAR 52-247-34, FOB Destination (Nov, 1991). Date of delivery is to be within 45 days ARO. The provisions of FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items (Oct, 1999); FAR 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (May, 1999); and FAR 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (Aug, 2000) apply to this acquisition. Include FAR 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Oct, 1999) with your quotation.
