Description

The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for software License and support. This is a combined synopsis/request for quote for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only request for quote. Quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTE WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Request for Quote number MDA908-00-Q-0112 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-13. This requirement is for the following items: Line Item 0001 100 EA Oracle 8I Enterprise Edition Named Single Server; Line Item 0002 100 EA P/N 2010-1000S One Year Silver Support for Oracle 8I Enterprise Edition Named Single Server; Line Item 0003 100 EA P/N 2010-1011 Spatial Named Single Server; Line Item 0004 100 EA P/N 2010-10118 One Year Silver Support for Spatial Named Single Server; Line item 0005 100 EA P/N 2010-1021 Internal Application Server Enterprise Ed. Named-Single Server; Line Item 0006 100 EA P/N 2010-1021S One Year Silver Support for Internet Application Server Enterprise Ed. Named Single Server; Line Item 0007 6 EA P/N 2010-1440 Internet Developer Suite Named User Single Server; Line Item 0008 6 EA P/N 2010-1440S One Year Silver Support for Internet Developer Suite. VENDORS MUST SUPPLY SUFFICIENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO DETERMINE THAT THE ITEM BEING OFFERED UNEQUIVOCALLY MEETS THE REQUIREMENT STATED ABOVE. Vendors are cautioned to include all of the description information required of this acquisition in their total price. Delivery of all items is required 5 days from date of award to be delivered FOB Destination to DIA Warehouse, Plaza 500, Suite 140, 6295 Edsall Rd., Alexandria, VA 22312.. Acceptance shall be made at destination. The provision FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies. Offerors are required to complete and include a copy of the following provisions with the quote: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications -- Commercial Items, Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to implement Statutes or executive Orders-Commercial Items applies with the following applicable clauses for paragraph (b); FAR Parts 52.219-4, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-1, 52.225-3, 52.225-16, 52.232-33, 52.232-34, 52.232-36, and DFARS Subpart 252.206-7000, 252.225-7021. The vendors that can provide the software listed above must submit their quotes for consideration to the following email address: ialogsd@dia.mil no later than 12:00 noon 11 Sep 00. Handcarried/common courier quotes must be delivered to the Virginia Contracting Activity to Attn: DAP-2/Ida A. Logsdon; Bldg. 6000; Bolling AFB, Washington, D.C. 20340-5100. Documentation received after this time and date are subject to clause "Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Bids" (FAR 52.214-7). All hand delivered/common courier quotes are to be sealed and the outer envelope or wrapping be addressed as stated above. Telephone requests WILL NOT be honored. All quotes must reference RFQ MDA908-00-Q-0112. Vendors MUST include an email/facsimile number. if available, in the quote.
