Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitures the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitaton will not be issued. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside under standard industrial code 5049. The small business standard is 100 employees. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The requirements are as follows: Contex full copy scanner model FSC 8010DSP with interface control kit and large format scanner stand for same scanner. Quantity is 8 each. Delivery shall be FOB destination to: Bureau of the Census, Receiving Building 60F, 1201 E. 10th Street, Jeffersonville, IN 47132. Preferred delivery date is October 18, 2000. Acceptance at destination. The following provisions and clauses apply to this RFQ: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evaluations-Commercial Items, 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, include a completed copy with offer, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Bids may be faxed to 812-218-3937. Award will be made to the responsive bidder offering the lowest cost. In order to be considered responsive, an offeror must bid on all quantities stated.
