Description

Subject solicitation is being issued unrestricted for the purchase of the Temt, Temper, Type III, NSN 8340-01-185-2615, to be manufactured in accordance with MIL-T-44271. There will be a minimum quantity of 150 each and a maximum quantity of 300 for the basic and three option periods. Deliveries will be to Barstow CA beginning 180 days after award. A First Article sample will be due 90 days after award. Offerors will be required to submit a technical proposal (Past Performance, Manufacturing Plan, Socioeconomic Consideration, DLA Mentoring Business Agreement, Javits-Wagner-O'Day Act Entity Proposal). All materials will be furnished by the successful awardee. FAR Part 12 procedures will not be used. The anticipated issue date for this solicitation is 5 October 2000.
