Description

This is a Blanket Purchase Agreement for various plants to be furnished to commissaries within the Defense Commissary Agency commissary Midwest Region, and Eastern Region, Southern Area. The contractor shall furnish assorted potted plants and provide incidental services for the maintenance, merchandising, labeling, and care of such plants for 6 geographical groups. Group I includes: Fort Hood I and Fort Hood II, TX; Group II includes: Maxwell AFB and Gunter AFB, AL; Group III includes: New Orleans, LA; Group IV includes: Albany and Athens, GA; and Group V includes: Cannon AFB, Holloman AFB, and White Sands, NM. The contractor shall retain the ownership of all plants until scanned by the Government at the front-end register. Performance period shall be from approximately October 16, 2000, or date of award if later, through October 15, 2003. Projected issue date of Solicitation No: DeCA02-00-T-0016 is September 28, 2000. Estimated closing date is October 13, 2000. Multiple awards are anticipated. Acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
