Description

Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, = materials and supplies to install and replace upright granite headstones and flat granite grave markers at Houston National Cemetery. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 8999 and a size standard of $5 million are applicable. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote. The contract covers the base period October 1, 2000 (or date of contract award, whichever is later), through September 30, 2001, with four 1-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2005. A video presentation covering these services will be shown at Houston National Cemetery at 9:00 a.m., Houston Time, September 19, 2000. The video presentation will show offers how these services are performed. The Government has been advised by offerors under previous acquisitions for these services that the video presentation was extremely helpful in understanding the requirements and developing their quotations. All interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend. Request for a hard copy of the solicitation must be in writing to Ms. Janice E. Corlew, Contract Specialist, and accompanied by a check or money order in the amount of Five Dollars ($5.00) (non-refundable), payable to =93U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.=94 Please reference Solicitation Number RFQ = 786-82-00 on remittances.
