Description

DESC: J-This request for quotation (RFQ) is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is W26R1P-0244-2002 and issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The services being requested are: maintenance of government owned copiers for the period 1 Oct 00 thru 30 Sep 01, plus four option years. There are approximately 37 copiers located in various buildings on Fort Eustis VA. The manufacturers of these copiers are Canon, Konica, Royal, Sharp, and Xerox. This is an all of none request. Proposals must include all copiers. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7629, Electrical and Electronic Repair shops, NEC. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small business with small business volume of 5.0 million dollars of less. The POC listed above may be contacted for a listing of equipment and Statement of Work (SOW). Funds are not presently available for this contract. The government' obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payments for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the contracting officer for this contract and until the contractor receives notice of such availability to be confirmed in writing by the contracting officer.
