The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is preparing MIL-H-19034 for cancellation and A-A-XX169 -- Hose, Metal, Flexible, Corrugated Carbon Steel And Corrosion Resisting Steel Types, Internal Combustion Engine Intake And Exhaust Application to replace MIL-H-19034. NAVSEA intends to draft specifications and standards to accommodate a variety of design solutions and processes and to encourage a broad vendor base.
