Description: This is not a notice of RFP Issuance. The Contracting Squadron, Eielson AFB, Alaska, is seeking potential offerors interested in grounds maintenance services. The potential offeror will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform grounds maintnenace services in accordance with attached draft Statement of Work. Performance period will be 1 May 01 through 30 Sep 01 (basic period) plus four one-year option periods. THE PROPOSED SOLICITATION IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE UNDER SIC CODE 0782. Small business standard is $5 million. This solicitation is proposed to be a competitive RFP using commercial procedures found in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15, negotiations. THERE WILL BE A SITE VISIT FOR ALL INTERESTED PARTIES TO BE HELD ON 19 SEP 00 AT 8:30AM. PERSONNEL WILL MEET AT BUILDING 3112, Room 201, Contracting Squadron prior to the visit. The Government will provide transportation to the various sites. Comments and statements of interest are required by 4:00 pm 25 Sep 00. Numbered Note 1 applies.
