Description

This is an interim rental agreement pending the long-term agreement that is being processed through GSA. Rental of approximately 11,972 square feet of office space for the Joint Simulation System, Alliance Executive Office (JSIMS AEO). This space is comprised of 2,872 square feet considered rentable space and approximately 9,100 square feet considered common areas. The common area consists of, but is not limited to, a test bed, conference rooms, wiring closet and break room. Office location is 12249 Science Dr., Suite 260, Orange County, Florida. This is a sole source commercial item procurement to be awarded to BTG Nations, Inc., Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The JSIMS office is currently occupying the space and it is not feasible to move due to the fact that the office space is configured, designed, and furnished in a way that accommodates JSIMS AEO's special needs. The office space is also in close proximity to the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) from which JSIMS AEO receives support for telephone service, security, payroll, travel, etc., and the Program Manager, (Army) Simulation, Training & Instrumentation Command (PM, STRICOM). The period of lease is for 4 months beginning 1 Oct 2000 through 1 Feb 2001. See numbered Note 22.
