Description

This is a firm fixed price contract with a SIC code of 1629. This acquisition is 100% Small Business set-aside and only offers from small business concerns which may qualify under the size standard in this solicitation will be accepted. Offers received from concerns that are not small businesses shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. This project is located in Alamogordo, New Mexico. It consist of the construction of approximately 1 mile of concrete lined channel; 1 mile of levee embankment and associated structures consisting of RPC pipe inlets, riprap protection, utility relocations and pavement replacement. The concrete lined channel will be either trapezoidal or rectangular channel. Excavation is approximately 120,000 CY; fill is approximately 90,000 CY with approximately 3,000 CY of slope protection.The approximate construction period is 450 days.
