Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to non-competitively procure the modification of a Predator Data Control Module (PDCM) to a Forward Control Module (FCM). This effort includes the upgrade of an existing PDCM to an FCM and the executable source code for the FCM hardware platform. This will be a sole-source procurement to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., San Diego, CA under a modification to an existing contract, N00019-99-C-0015. Successful completion of this effort requires intimate knowledge of the Predator hardware and software, and related subsystems. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the PDCM and is the only known source with the in-depth knowledge of the equipment necessary to perform this effort to meet schedule requirements. The estimated period of performance is November 2000 through September 2001. See notes No. 22 and 26.
