Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number RFQ F14614-00-Q-0002 is issued as a Request for Quotation, for a small business set aside. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3429, Hardware, N.E.C., the size standard of which is 500 employees. This is a request for construction materials. Quote unit prices for each kit/grouping. Individual prices in the kit will not be accepted. Quantity required is 9 kits. Delivery is FOB destination with a delivery date of 30 days after receipt of order. All FAR clauses and provision referenced below may be reviewed and/or obtained from the General Services Administration's Federal Acquisition Regulation web site at Internet address http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate the quotes in descending order of importance: price. Offers shall be evaluated on an all or none basis. Multiple awards will not be made. Quotation shall be accompanied by a completed representations and certifications.
