- The National Naval Medical Center, (NNMC)Bethesda, MD intends to award a sole source standing order procurement to BioMerieux Vitek for reagents. Vitek IMS system is an automated instrument that performs bacterial identification and anatimicrobial susceptibility testing on patient specimens. Vitek is the only source of products for the automated bacterial and susceptibility testing. Period: 01 0ct 00 thru 30 Sep 01. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and contingent upon availability of FY01 funding. "See Note 22"
