- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F45613-00-Q-5012 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. Standard Industrial Code is 3669. Small business size standard is 750 employees. This is a small business set-aside. This is an unfunded requirement; award depends upon fiscal year 2000 end of year funds availability. Interested parties may call Betty White at (509)247-3837 for further information. DESCRIPTION: Furnish and install Audio/Video Teleconferencing Equipment for the Base Education Center at Fairchild AFB to include the following materials. (1) Seven each document CAMERAS, Samsung SVP-410 12" CCD Digital camera, high resolution, 12X power zoom, manual/power focus, one external video input, collapsible light arms and camera head with removeable back light panel. (2) Six each AUDIO SYSTEMS for standard classrooms. Includes TOA amplified mixer with two mic inputs, two line (tape) inputs and audio processor; one each TOA full range, wide dispersion, ceiling speaker with enclosure and grill; Sure 2 channel VHF wireless microphone system with one handheld and one lapel microphone, West Pen Commercial speaker cable, West Penn commercial signal cable and labor to install. (3) Two each AUDIO SYSTEMS for large divided classroom. Includes one TOA amplified mixer with two microphone inputs, two line (tape) inputs and audio processor; two each TOA full range wide dispersion, ceiling speakers with enclosure and grill; Sure two channel VHF wireless microphone system with one handheld and one lapel microphones; custom in-wall room combining control and volume control, West Penn Commercial speaker cable; West Penn commercial signal cable, labor to install. (4) One each Video/Audio TELECONFERENCING SYSTEM. Incorporates INTEL Team Station Turnkey Package; includes INTEL Pentium II with MMX triple ISDN (348KB), preinstalled video conferencing switcher and networking switcher, single monitor or projector viewing only, multiple images on one screen, full duplex audio with advanced echo cancelling, motorized high-quality Sony camera with pan, tilt, zoom, 6 presets for PTZ, and two camera capability, wireless keyboard and infrared remote, ISA ISDN board, infrared remote repeater system, video connection for projector, and includes labor to install, test, adjust and set for optimal image quality. (5) One each MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT via Piture Tel, includes 24 hour service (next business day), unlimited phone support, expedited parts shipped next day, software updates, 24 hour video test facility access, on-line access. Please provide separate quotes (unit price and extended price) for each of the five listed items/systems described above, rather than pricing each component of each system. Please provide descriptive literature if brand name items will be substituted. Site visit is scheduled at 2:00 PM, 14 Sep 00; report to 92d Contracting Squadron Conference Room.
