Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-00-Q-0187 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19 and DCN 20000831. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 7372 and the size standard is $18 million. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 System Upgrade. QTY 1 LOT. CLIN 0002 2 YR Software Maintenance & License Renewal. QTY 2 YR. All products/performance shall be Brand Name MEDI, in accordance with Statement of Work for CLIN 0001 & Technical Characteristics for CLIN 0002 available for downloading @ http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply. Performance period is from contract award date for the period of 2 years. F.O.B. Destination, with Final inspection and acceptance at NSWC Crane, IN. Per FAR 6.302, this requirement is issued on a sole-source basis to Micrographic Equipment Design Inc (MEDI), 7225 Parkway Dr, Hanover MD 21076-1317, only qualified source. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
