Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19 and DCN 20000831. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8475: Size Standard for small business is 500 employees or less. Submit written quotes (oral quotes/offers will not be considered) to 47th Contracting Squadron, 171 Alabama Avenue, Laughlin AFB TX 78843-5102 or FAX to 830-298-4878. On all quotes please provide your CAGE code number. This procurement is for National Stock Number only equipment items. No substitutes will be accepted. Solicitation number F41685-00-T0154 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) to furnish the following items: Item 0001: 300 each NSN: 847501252338LS (Cover,Liner, Helmet, HGU-55/P, Size Large; Covers thermal plastic liner). Item 0002: 200 each NSN: 8475011429184LS (Lens, Visor, Flying Helmet, Pressure HGU-55/P Helmet intended for day light flying). Item 0003: 150 each NSN: 8475011415917LS (Lens, Visor, Flying Helmet, Anti-G, HGU-55/P Helmet, Neutral Grey Lens; lenses are suitable for us with the MBU-5/P Oxygen Mask) Item 0004: 300 each NSN: 847501252337LS (Cover, Liner, Helmet HGU-55/P helmet; size X-large; covers thermal plastic liner) In accordance with FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998), the following solicitation provisions are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Mar 2000), FAR 52.215-5 Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997), and FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation_Commercial Items (Jan 1999) with the following evaluation factors: Price related factors, and Past Performance.
