Description

Notice that the General Services Administration, FTS Region 10, 4040 Wheaton Way Suite 111, Bremerton, WA 98310 intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order with Verizon Network Services, (formerly known as GTE Network Services) 1800 41st Street WA0104BM, Everett, WA 98201 under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other suppliers will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. For CLIN 0001 Verizon Network Services will be providing Services and Material for the NSB Bangor Structured Cabling Installation for Building 6403. For CLIN 0002 Verizon Network Services will be providing Services and Material for the NSB Bangor Structured Cabling for Buildings 7003, 7415, 7416, 7201, and 7177 and F/O Backbone buildings 7177 to 7163, 7426 to 7409. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, if proposals are received by 4:00 p.m., PST, 09/14/00 they may be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Numbered Note 22 applies.
